There’s a power imbalance in Hell.

Bubba Rickenbacher, better known as Beelzebub, has been accused of slacking off, and he’s not happy about it. In order to save face, he makes a wager with the other major players in Hell’s triumvirate. If he can turn a straight-shooting actuary into a loyal devotee of Hell, he’ll be exonerated and balance will return to the Hellscape.

But the devil is in the details, and a good actuary knows their details.

With the help of Bubba’s unexpectedly astute target, Milton, Milton’s widow, and the hippie who killed him, those details will become the basis of a of an interdimensional court case that could change the shape of the afterlife, for everyone.
